Why “Happiness of Everything”, you ask? I chose this name for my company because I am a big believer that the sources of happiness are plentiful, they are all around us, and we need to figure out how to tap into them. The joy of movement is one of the biggest sources of happiness.
While getting older is inevitable, weakness, immobility and lethargy are not “normal” parts of aging. It is my mission to help people remain strong, healthy and energetic into their golden years, and enjoy their lives to the fullest. It is within our hands to change the trajectory of our future.
Why ESSENTRICS®? I experienced firsthand the effectiveness of this program to heal an injury, increase strength and mobility, and promote weight loss. With high demands and competing priorities of our busy lives, we all are looking for an exercise program that delivers multiple fitness and wellness objectives simultaneously and in a short period of time.
My ESSENTRICS® journey started in the fall of 2020 when I saw Miranda Esmonde-White on PBS speaking about ESSENTRICS®. At that time, for many months I had been struggling to recover from an injury in my right ankle and foot. Miranda’s enthusiasm was contagious. I decided to give ESSENTRICS® a try and ordered a DVD with 2 connective tissue workouts from the ESSENTRICS® website. What happened next was close to a miracle. A 30-min connective tissue workout brought an immediate relief to the pain in my foot, and this relief lasted a few days. And then I noticed that my knees were no longer hurting when I was getting out of my desk after sitting for hours. For me, this was not only a solid proof of the efficacy of the ESSENTRICS® technique, but also a confirmation that movement is medicine.
In the fall of 2023, I enrolled in the ESSENTRICS® Certification program to become a certified instructor, so that I can help other people regain range of motion, increase mobility, become stronger and younger. I obtained ESSENTRICS® certification in July of 2024.
Happiness of Everything is based in Toronto, ON, Canada. Our in-person ESSENTRICS® classes in Toronto are offered at CDM Dance & Music (5915 Leslie Street, Leslie & Dexter Plaza, north of Finch Ave and south of McNicoll Ave). Our live virtual ESSENTRICS® classes are available to anyone in Canada and USA via Zoom.
